Overview
Mia Vitals is a telemedicine and remote patient monitoring platform. Patients capture biometric vitals through face and finger detection on the phone camera, and clinicians follow the results on live dashboards and in secure video consultations.
The Flutter app serves 10,000+ active users and is published on the App Store and Google Play.
My contributions
- Built the app in Flutter with BLoC state management.
- Implemented real-time biometric monitoring from camera frame streaming, using CameraX and Socket.IO to feed clinician dashboards.
- Implemented SSL certificate pinning, encrypted REST APIs and JWT authentication to support healthcare data security and privacy requirements.
- Integrated Stripe payments with fraud-prevention rules and Google Maps with custom geofencing.
- Profiled with Flutter DevTools to reduce memory use and load times; maintained 80%+ coverage across unit, widget and integration tests.
