Overview
Mafell ZAS is a construction app published by MAFELL AG, built in Flutter for calculating roof-tile cuts. Users pick a roof type (valley, hip, rising eaves or sloped verge) and enter the measurements; the app computes each tile's cutting angle and setting value with custom algorithms and renders the tile rows with Flutter Canvas and CustomPainter.
Data is persisted offline-first in Drift with versioned schema migrations across app updates, and the codebase is backed by a suite of 3,000+ unit and widget tests. The app is published on Google Play and the App Store.
My contributions
- Implemented custom cutting-angle algorithms and their rendering with CustomPainter and Canvas.
- Designed the offline-first data layer on Drift with versioned schema migrations.
